Repetition · Privacy
Your data belongs to you
Effective June 3, 2026.
Repetition is built to be private by default. Your affirmations are personal. They shouldn't have to leave your device, and in Repetition they don't.
1. Who we are
Repetition is published by Eldhaven LLC. We are the party responsible for this app and for this policy. This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you have questions, our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. What we collect
We don't collect personal information about you. Repetition has no account, no login, and no cloud sync. We don't include analytics or advertising SDKs, and we don't track you across apps or websites. We do not operate a server that receives your data.
One small exception is worth naming plainly: when you buy Premium, Apple confirms the purchase to us (see Purchases below). Repetition does not ship its own crash reporting. Separately, Apple's own operating system may collect standard diagnostics, such as crash logs, under Apple's privacy policy. If you have opted in with Apple, we may review the aggregated, anonymized crash reports Apple makes available to developers, which help us find and fix bugs. That collection is Apple's, not ours, and you can control it in iOS Settings.
3. Where your affirmations live
Your recordings, categories, playlists, journal entries, stats, settings, and any custom music or images you import are stored only on your device. They are not transmitted to Eldhaven or to any third party.
4. Your rights and control
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Because Repetition holds none of your data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, sell, share, or delete. Your information lives on your device and stays fully in your control. You can edit or remove any affirmation, recording, or journal entry inside the app at any time, and deleting the app removes its data from your device. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
5. Apple and other services
Repetition relies on Apple for a few system features: the App Store and StoreKit for purchases, Apple Health if you enable it, and iOS for scheduling local notifications. When Apple provides these services it acts under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not use any other third party processors.
6. Apple Health
If you choose to enable Apple Health sync in Settings, Repetition will write each completed affirmation session to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. Repetition only writes to Health and never reads your Health data. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health.
7. Microphone
Microphone access is required to record your affirmations. Recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
8. Notifications
Daily reminders, streak reminders, and affirmation reminders are scheduled locally by iOS. Repetition does not run a server that sends push notifications.
9. Purchases
Repetition Premium is a single purchase processed by Apple via StoreKit. Apple shares only an anonymous indicator with us that confirms the purchase. We do not see your name, billing address, or payment details.
10. Security
Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by the device's own encryption and your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Repetition also offers an optional in-app privacy lock for an added layer of protection. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but keeping your data local removes the risk of a server breach exposing it.
11. Required app metrics
Repetition uses the iOS device boot time (a required reason API) to handle timing in the background. This value is local to your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
12. Children
Repetition is intended for general audiences. Because the app collects no information, it presents no special risk to younger users.
13. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and note the change here.
