Frequently asked
Tap the + button in the top right and choose Add Affirmation, then press Record. Tap Stop when you're finished.
Yes. From Voice Memos, Parrot, Files, or anywhere else that supports sharing, tap the iOS share button and choose Repetition. The recording lands in your library, ready to play.
Tap the + button in the top right corner of the app and choose Add Category. To add affirmations to a category, rename it, rearrange it, or turn it into a playlist, press and hold its tab.
Tap the + button in the top right corner of the app and choose Add Playlist. Name it and pick the affirmations to include. Find your playlists under the Playlists tab, and open one to set its ring color, music, and session length, then press play to hear them one after another.
Ring Settings controls the practice itself. It handles count mode (auto or manual), tap sounds, playback speed, session length, and any challenges you set. Vibe Settings controls the feel. It handles background music, images, symbol patterns, and ring colors.
Yes. In Vibe Settings, open the Custom tab under Visual or Auditory and tap + to add an image or audio track from your device. Press and hold any upload to rename, rearrange, or delete it.
A goal you set for yourself on an affirmation. It can be a number of reps, a number of days, or a total amount of time. The third ring on each affirmation page tracks your progress toward it.
Each affirmation page has three rings around your count. The inner ring tracks your reps, the middle ring tracks your session length, and the outer ring tracks your challenge. On a playlist page they shift slightly. The inner ring still tracks your reps like the affirmation page, but the middle ring tracks playlist cycles and the outer ring tracks your session.
Open any affirmation and tap the More button (the three dots in the top right corner), then choose Stats or Journal. Each affirmation keeps its own count, history, and private journal.
It's a place to keep your affirmations that have come true and celebrate your power. When one manifests, use the More button to move it there, and you can bring it back anytime.
No. Repetition is local by design, so your affirmations live on your device. Restoring to a new device today means recording them again or sharing them in. Because we value your privacy, we've left it out for now, but if enough people want it, we'll consider adding it.
Optionally, yes. In Settings, turn on Apple Health sync and Repetition will log each session as Mindful Minutes. We only ever write to Health, and never read anything.
Yes. In Settings, turn on Privacy Lock so the app can't be opened without your passcode or Face ID, and enable Screen Always On to keep the screen awake during playback.
Press and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle, then tap Edit in the top left corner and choose Add Widget. Search for Repetition, pick a size, and tap Add Widget. Tap Done in the top right corner to finish. After adding, press and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget to choose a single affirmation or a custom rotation. Build configurations under Settings → Widget Configurations. Lock Screen widgets are also available.
Wake your device and press and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize. Tap the Add Widget area and search for Repetition. Add it, then tap the widget to pick a single affirmation or a custom rotation. Close the widget picker, then tap Done at the top of the screen to save.
Sometimes when you've just downloaded the app, you need to restart your device before it appears. Once your phone powers back on, search for Repetition again and it should show up in the widget list.
You can try deleting the widget and adding it again, but usually it will come back on its own. iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule, so the words and background image should reappear in time.
Go to Settings and tap Upgrade to Premium, or tap any locked feature in the app to see its page pop up. Premium is a single purchase, processed by Apple, and ties to your Apple ID. Restore it on a new device with Settings → Restore Purchase.
No. Premium is a single purchase. No recurring fees, no hidden costs, no expiration.
All purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through the App Store. The fastest route is reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple typically responds within a few days.
